Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 10 October 2026

Your privacy matters to LYLH Adventure Private Limited, the owner and operator of RideOn (“RideOn”, “Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose and protect personal data when you use:

Customer location

The RideOn customer application may collect location while the app is open, while you search for or request a ride, and during an active trip. This enables pickup selection, nearby-driver discovery, route calculation, live tracking and safety features.

RideOn does not intend to collect a customer’s background location when the application is closed and no ride or safety feature is active.

Driver background location

RideOn Driver collects location data to enable ride matching and trip tracking even when the app is closed or not in use.

Driver location may be collected when the driver has intentionally switched Online, is responding to a ride request, is travelling to a pickup point, or is completing an active trip. This enables:

  • Nearby ride requests;
  • Pickup navigation;
  • Customer live tracking;
  • Trip-route recording;
  • Driver and customer safety;
  • Fraud prevention and operational support.

Background location collection should stop when the driver switches Offline, except where temporarily required to complete an active trip, safety request or legally required record.
